circa 1825, with tapering iron 9in. barrel, Belgian proofs, solid rounded top-tang, plain iron lock with radiused and pointed tail, walnut full-stock (lightly distressed) with capped flat-bottomed heel-plate, large iron lanyard ring with brass swivel attachment, brass trigger-guard, brass barrel-key escutcheon and nose-cap, no provision for ramrod
