circa 1900, with straight 32in. spear-point blade, shallow central blind fuller for half its length, etched with scrolls and kings crown within arabesque borders, inlaid proofmark at forte, the reverse signed 'MADE BY ROBT. MOLE BIRMINGHAM FOR THE ARMY & NAVY CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY, LONDON', brass 'gothic' hilt with Queen Victoria's cypher, wire-bound sharkskin grip, brass backstrap with moulded acanthus decoration and integral stepped pommel cap, complete with its iron scabbard (stained)
