ROSS-SHIRE.', Mauser Mod. 98 receiver serial no. 5658, fitted with scope mount bases, manual tang-mounted safety, low-profile bolt handle, hinged floorplate with push-button release, well-figured half-length pistolgrip stock with palm-swell, cheekpiece, horn pistolgrip-cap and horn fore-end finial, 14 3/4in. pull including rubber recoil pad, sling eyes, weight 8lb. 5oz.
