for 1902, 26in. tapering octagonal nitro reproved (in 2022) barrel, the top stamped 'MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. NEW HAVEN CONN. U.S.A.', dove-tailed blade fore-sight, buckhorn rear-sight, blued receiver, flat top to bolt, the tang marked 'WINCHESTER MODEL 1895', walnut butt-stock with steel crescent heel plate, 12 1/2in. pull, splinter fore-end with horn finial, weight 9lb.
