MOD: 71' and on the right with the date of manufacture '1878', iron and brass mounted full walnut stock, the butt-cap tang engraved 'B / 12R / 11 / 67', indicating issue to the Bavarian 12th regiment, 11th Company, gun no. 67, complete with a replacement brown leather sling
