circa 1810, with browned octagonal 7 3/8in. barrel signed on the top-flat 'LONDON', small applied blade fore-sight, shallow standing notch rear-sight to the front of the engraved tang, border and trophy engraved stepped tail bevel edged lock signed 'MANTON' below the semi rainproof pan, sliding safe behind the swan-necked cock, roller to the frizzen-spring, walnut full-stock with chequered bag-shaped butt, engraved trigger-guard bow and horn-tipped ramrod
