E.C.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/2 choke, treble-grip action, carved percussion fences, border engraving, retaining traces of original colour-hardening, 14 1/4in. well-figured semi-pistolgrip stock including buttplate, weight 5lb. 7oz.
Provenance: The vendor's research has established that the shotgun was completed circa July 1897, although this does not concur with the proof marks.
