LONDON.', some pitting right tube, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. in both, push-forward underlever, T. Southgate and J. Woodward patent 'Automatic' action, patent no. 600 of 1876, use number 104, scrolled fences, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'BOLTED' detail, uncharacteristic dipped-edge lockplates with external cocking indicators, fine floral and acanthus scroll engraving, 14 3/4in. well-figured stock including buttplate, grip-catch fore-end release (fore-end wood split), weight 7lb. 1oz., in its lightweight leather case
