circa 1860, with 30in. damascus barrels (muzzles worn), unsigned top-rib, scroll engraved long top-tang, fine border and scroll engraved back-action locks signed 'POTTER', scroll engraved hammers, walnut butt-stock chequered at the wrist (worn), silver oval beneath stock, scroll engraved action with 'Jones'-style underlever and removable chequered splinter forend (tip missing), iron surfaces stained throughout
