A .450 PERCUSSION SINGLE-SHOT MATCH RIFLE, serial no. 5302,
circa 1882, with 34in. reblacked barrel signed 'ALEXR. HENRY. EDINBURGH & LONDON', block-mounted windage adjustable blade fore-sight (replacement element), associated tangent rear-sight calibrated to 1,900 yards, reblacked border engraved tang (cracked) and bolted lock (slipping off full cock position), the latter signed 'ALEXR. HENRY', replacement pistolgrip half-stock with chequered grip and fore-end, reblacked iron mounts comprising chequered butt-plate, serial numbered trigger-guard and replacement trigger-plate, rear iron sling eye, Birmingham proof marks.

Other Notes: The makers have kindly confirmed that this rifle was completed on 14th May 1882 as a best quality back-position match rifle.
