A 28-BORE FLINTLOCK DOUBLE-BARRELLED OFFICERS PISTOL,
circa 1790, with re-browned 6in. barrels, blade fore-sight, grooved top-tang, plain rounded locks with pointed tails signed 'SIMON A PARIS', (one hammer detached but present), walnut full-stock chequered at the wrist, birds-head style pommel with border-lined and florally engraved steel cap, French-style pillar and shell florally engraved trigger guard, vase finial, horn tip to the forend, bone-tipped wood rammer (locks brushed bright, small repaired cracks to forend wood)
