circa 1815, with 1 1/2in. round barrel (frozen), engraved at the muzzle, rounded boxlock action with central hammer (top jaw and screw missing), the action signed 'BRUNN' on the left hand side and 'LONDON' on the right, both within a field of martial trophies, sliding safety on top-strap (loose but present), chequered walnut bag-shaped grip (small cracks behind top-tang, old inlet repair at head), rectangular silver escutcheon at wrist, folding, concealed trigger, slight traces of original finish
