A SCARCE 1837 PATTERN BAYONET FOR A BRUNSWICK RIFLE SIGNED ENFIELD,
dated for 1843, broad, double-edged 21 3/4in. blade with central fuller for half its length, brass cross-guard with turned-down quillions, brass ribbed hilt with bar-slot and large release button, the hilt stamped '17' over '92' (no scabbard, blade discoloured with a few minor edge-nicks)
