possibly Belgian produced but with Birmingham proved blued 3 3/4in. ovoid barrel signed 'BLISSETT, LIVERPOOL', solid frame (traces of colour) with hinged loading gate and externally crane-mounted ejector below the cylinder on the right hand side, plain ratchet locking five-shot cylinder (cleaned of colour), double action mechanism, chequered walnut grip and guarded trigger, complete with its original oak storage case, lined and compartmented in dark blue baize and containing a mahogany cleaning rod, turn-screw and tray for ammunition, the inside of lid with parchment Blissett label
