A RARE CASED 100-BORE PERCUSSION PEPPERBOX REVOLVER OF PAKTONG WHITE-METAL SIGNED COLLINS, no visible serial number,
circa 1830, with fully fluted 2 3/4in. six-shot paktong barrel-group, engraved band at muzzles, Birmingham proved, blued iron nipples, rounded paktong action with integral moulded nipple-guard, the body border and scroll engraved and signed 'COLLINS, MAKER' on the left side, colour hardened bar-hammer and trigger, blued iron engraved trigger-guard bow and paktong frame with engraved back-strap and heel-cap, fitted with smooth walnut grips, much finish remaining and complete with its original walnut storage case lined and compartmented in dark blue baize and containing a small size bag-shaped flask (mainspring absent), a scissors ball-mould, a loading rod and two further lidded compartments
