A .650 FLINTLOCK SERVICE-PISTOL TO THE QUEEN'S OWN ROYAL YEOMANRY CAVALRY (DORSET YEOMANRY), serial no. 231,
of New Land Pattern style circa 1815, with iron 9in. barrel, moulded band at breech, squared top-tang, borderline engraved lock signed TOWER' on the tail, a crown and 'G.R.' device below pan, ring-necked cock (missing spindle-screw), walnut full-stock (some heavy bruising), brass furniture including dome butt-cap with short side-ears, the trigger guard bow inscribed 'Q.O.R.' over 'Y.C.' over '231' and captive iron ramrod with pan head
