A BRITISH CAVALRY-TROOPER'S PATTERN '08 SWORD SIGNED 'S.B. & N. LTD', WITH SCARCE SADDLE-FROG,
dated for 1916 with re-issue stamps to 1921 and originally marked to the 7th Hussars, with narrow single edged and blind fullered 35in. blade with pattern no. to back edge, sheet iron bowl-style handguard with rolled edge, composite material chequered 'pistol-grip' hilt and domed iron pommel, complete with its iron scabbard with twin fixed suspension rings (traces of olive green paint at throat) and fitted to a 1914 dated long leather saddle frog
