circa 1950, with 14 1/2in. brass barrel, blued air-chamber with integral six-shot magazine with rotating cover, the body of the device marked 'HAMMERLI TRAINER MOD K31', 'PATENT' ('Hammerli Trainer' with traces of gilt infill) and the serial number (some scratches to finish), side-lever cocking with bakelite toggle in imitation of the rifle together with its blacked top-clamp and complete in its makers pale green card carton with a partial tin of H&N BBs and a selection of spare parts from another unit
