Provenance: Geoff Boxall was well known to many as a regular contributor to Airgunner magazine throughout the 1980's and 90's and who sadly passed away early last year. This is the HW77 that was sent to him for test by the official importers Hull Cartridge Company, and believed the first received by them after its launch in 1983. The HW77 was a milestone air-rifle, re-writing the book on under-levers and spawning many imitators such as the Webley Eclipse and the BSA Superstar. Serial numbers are believed to have commenced with no. 1000000.
