HAYMARKET LONDON.', and gold-inlaid '1' at the breech end, No.2 tubes engraved 'HENRY ATKIN LTD. 27 ST. JAMES'S ST. LONDON. S.W.1.', the rib gold-inlaid '2' at the breech end, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. both (No.1) and imp. cyl. and true cyl. choke (No.2), toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, action bridges signed 'E. C. HODGES', beaded border and fine acanthus scroll engraving, retaining very slight traces of colour-hardening, No.2 with some light patches of pitting, 15 1/4in. replacement stocks, No.1 with replacement fore-end wood (with crack), No.2 fore-end wood with some damage at knuckle, weight 6lb. 11oz.
