for 1901, with nickel-plated round 4in. barrel, three lines of address and patent details near breech, crescent fore-sight, sighting groove to top-strap, plated frame and swing-out fluted cylinder, blued trigger and hammer with polished side and fitted with period mother of pearl grips, the right hand example carved with a raised steer's head inset with red glass eyes
