for 1889, with 32in. barrel (signature erased) marked '10 GA' at the breech, slab-sided receiver with Winchester monogram, blued feed-block, top-tang without trademark , plain semi-pistol grip butt-stock, chequered iron heel-plate, curved finger-lever, the lower tang signed 'MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. NEW HAVEN CONN. USA.' and with patents to '1886', exposed magazine tube and replacement (from another) twin-screwed fixed walnut fore-end sides
