French and dated for 1867, with octagonal to round 21in. barrel, block and blade fore-sight, elevating ladder rear-sight, octagonal form receiver with straight handled bolt, walnut three-quarter stock, iron furniture including single barrel-band and nose-cap, finish worn with loss to engraved detail and some pitting to furniture parts
