circa 1800 with damascus 35in. barrels, the top-rib signed in gilt 'BROWN LONDON' and with five gilt bands at breech, bead fore-sight, gilt-lined touch-holes, engraved top-tang with raised shallow sighting-groove, moulded bevel edged locks signed 'BROWN', stepped and pointed tails, rollers and rainproof gilt lined pans, refinished chequered walnut half-stock, iron furniture with engraved detail including raised and scrolled lower tang, white metal ramrod throat and later horn tipped ramrod
