A BRITISH MID-VICTORIAN CONSTABULARY HANGER
circa 1855, with curved broad fullered 23 1/2in. spear-point blade false edged for the last 8 1/4in., plain 'D' shaped knucklebow with turned down quillion to the cross-guard, ribbed sharkskin grip (binding absent) and carved brass pommel, complete with its black leather brass mounted scabbard (missing locking catch, scabbard stitching undone)
