A GERMAN HUNTING KNIFE WITH ETCHED BLADE AND HUNTING ASSOCIATION INSIGNIA
early middle 20th century, with 10in. single-edged spear-point fullered blade etched with hunting scenes and game on each side, silvered hilt with downturned shell guard decorated in relief with a capercaillie in low relief, the cross-guard with vertically recurved quillons terminating in hoof finials, natural staghorn grip with applied Nazi Hunting Association insignia, pommel carved with oakleaves and mounted with acorn finial, complete in original green leather scabbard with plated and engraved mounts
