28in. nitro barrels with 7mm ventilated matt top-rib, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and full choke, hold-open toplever, manual safety with integral barrel selector switch, gold-washed trigger, action and decorative sideplates finely carved with bold acanthus and floral designs on a stippled background, surrounding gold-inlaid vignettes of duck and pheasant in their naturalistic habitats, the underside with a gold-inlaid portrait of a fox, signed 'C. Perfido', 14in. highly-figured replacement roachbelly stock with beaded chequering borders and acanthus scroll detailing, matching fore-end converted from 3-piece (missing retaining screw), weight 6lb. 15oz.
