28in. nitro reproved barrels, the rib engraved 'HARRODS LTD. KNIGHTSBRIDGE. LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/4 choke, automatic safety with engraved 'SAFE' detail, border and acanthus scroll engraving, the sides of the action with scrolling banners inscribed 'HARRODS LTD.', retaining much (likely renewed) colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/2in. boldly-figured stock with flat top chequering, weight 4lb. 9oz., in a correctly serial numbered Webley cardboard carton
Provenance: The original proofmarks date the gun to circa 1937 / 38. The carton bears a label for Webley & Scott Ltd. (incorporating W.W. Greener Ltd.) and is hand written with the gun serial number and 'repair' in the 'Extras' field, suggesting the gun was reproofed by Webley's between 1965 and 1979
