A CASED 60-BORE PERCUSSION FIVE-SHOT REVOLVER MODEL 'LONGSPUR' (SECOND MODEL), serial no 951,
circa 1854, with octagonal sighted 5in. barrel signed 'PRITCHETT 86 ST. JAMES ST LONDON' and engraved with a borderline at the muzzle, plain cylinder numbered from '1' to '5' and engraved with a borderline to the front edge, borderline engraved hinged frame and grip-strap, the right side engraved 'WEBLEY'S PATENT' in a banner, the backstrap serial numbered and engraved 'BY HER MAJESTY'S ROYAL LETTERS PATENT', chequered walnut grips, pommel with lanyard ring, borderline engraved trigger-guard, and rammer mounted on the left side of the frame pivoting on the barrel-hinge screw, Birmingham proof marks, minimal traces of finish remaining, in a lined and fitted English market oak case almost certainly associated, with some accessories including a Hawksley powder-flask (mainspring at fault), an original brass 'WD' single-cavity 60-bore bullet mould, a cleaning rod and nipple key, the lid with shield-shaped brass escutcheon
