circa 1845, with octagonal twist iron 8in. barrel with faint traces of a signature, probably 'London', dove-tailed blade fore-sight and standing notch rear-sight, scroll engraved breech block and top-tang, border and scroll engraved bar-action lock signed 'GOLDEN', slab-sided dolphin headed hammer, walnut full-stock with swept finely chequered but, engraved trigger-guard bow with spur, white metal barrel key escutcheons and captive iron stirrup ramrod (old repaired crack to right hand side of fore-end)
