circa 1790, with slightly shortened 7 5/8in. tapering brass barrel, bead fore-sight, flat sighting plane at breech signed 'LONDON' and with borderline engraving, private proofs, solid iron top-tang (repaired), flat, step-tailed bevel edged lock (possibly a marriage), walnut full-stock with brass furniture and wood ramrod (stock cracked through and repaired behind lock
