A FINE AND UNIQUE FULLHORN KNIFE,
with 3 3/4in. clip-point damascus blade signed at the ricasso 'JOHAN', carved and scalloped back edge, the hilt formed from reindeer antler with a central burl birch band and scrimshawed in a bordered basket-weave design, the scabbard also of reindeer antler and scrimshawed en-suite and featuring a central elongated window bisected by a scrimshawed basket-weave panel and with a further basket-weave scrimshawed panel beneath, the reverse signed and dated by Per Olof, broad reindeer leather band at throat and with a reindeer skin twisted rope suspension loop with scrimshawed antler finial, mint and unused
Other Notes: This knife was the recipient of a third place prize at the Swedish Knifemaking show in 2006. The certificate confirming its third place can be made available to the buyer of the Lot
