A GERMAN WORLD WAR TWO LUFTWAFFE TYPE TWO DRESS DAGGER,
circa 1939, with plain stiletto 9 3/4in. blade signed by the maker (some minor staining), finely detailed aluminium crossguard in the form of an eagle with out-stretched drooping wings clutching a swastika in its talons, the reverse pebbled and the top-surfaces carved with oak-leaves, orange coloured celluloid grip with spiral wire binding and bulbous swastika alloy pommel, complete with its correct portapee knot and pebbled scabbard with oak-leaf carving near the tip and twin suspension rings
