A BULGARIAN ARMY OFFICER'S DRESS DAGGER, UNSIGNED,
circa 1935, with tapering double-edged 9 1/2in. blade etched with arabesques and a cyrillic inscription (cleaned, some dark staining), silver plated cross-guard embossed with the Bulgarian Lion within a shield to the front, a Maltese style cross badge with crossed swords to the reverse, both quillions carved in the form of lion's heads, spiral wire-bound mustard coloured celluloid grip with pierced crown pommel and oakleaf carved ferrule, complete with its plated pebbled finish scabbard with twin suspension rings
