A GOOD TWIN BLADED OR 'SNAKE'S TONGUE' POLEARM HEAD,
Indian, circa 1840, with 14in. blade separating after the first 3 3/4in. into two diverging flambeau blades, both with armour-piercing tips, the widest section near shaft chisel engraved with a gold koftgari bordered panel of flowers and foliage, the centre with a further gold koftgari arabesque panel repeated on the reverse, the shaft with opposing faceted facings each decorated in silver koftgari-work with a gold koftgari decorated blade-boss, 23in. overall
