A BRITISH TROOPER'S CAVALRY SWORD, PATTERN '1908', no visible serial number,
dated for 1915, with tapering slender 35in. single-edged blade, blind fullered on both sides for the majority of its length, plain iron three-quarter basket guard with rolled edge, the leading edge stamped and over-stamped 'DL O' over '2', plasticised chequered 'pistol-grip' hilt and domed pommel, complete with its iron scabbard with two suspension rings at throat (some mild staining and cleaning throughout)
