circa 1900, 30in. nitro barrels (some pits and marks), rib engraved 'ARMY & NAVY C.S.L. LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and full choke, treble-grip action, intercepting sears, toplever engraved 'PATENT', safety with blue-enamelled 'SAFE' detail (safety requires attention, currently frozen to "on" position), border and acanthus scroll engraving, retaining traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 15 1/8in. figured replacement stock, weight 6lb. 7oz.
