for 1993, 28in. nitro barrels with 7mm solid matt top-rib with a flash of foliate engraving at the breech end, the over barrel engraved 'J. PURDEY & SONS. AUDLEY HOUSE. SOUTH AUDLEY STREET. LONDON. ENGLAND.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and 3/4 choke, hold-open toplever, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, fine border and acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, the makers name gold-inlaid within an ornate cartouche, the triggerplate initialled 'RT', retaining virtually full original colour-hardening and finish, 15in. figured Prince of Wales semi-pistolgrip stock with engraved pistolgrip cap, the stock inlet with the initials 'JAM' in gold, weight 7lb. 8oz., in its makers tan leather case with canvas outer, with a complement of accessories including turnscrews, oil bottle and snap caps
