with Czech issue marks for 1939, brushed bright 4 5/8in. barrel, blued and sighted slide hinged at muzzle for field-stripping, blued frame with exposed large ring hammer and chequered one piece bakelite grip, much original finish remaining
Provenance: The CZ vz.38 was an interesting attempt to scale up the earlier pocket model vz.36; a 6.35 double action only pistol. The vz.38 did not prove popular or successful
