probably converted from flintlock, with two-stage 29 3/4in. barrel signed on the top-flat 'MULLER A HALBERSTADT', the remainder of the barrel engraved with geometrics apart from a carved girdle, brass dove-tailed fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, inlet oval white metal poincon at breech, unsigned borderline engraved lock with nipple-guard operating on the original frizzen-spring, hammer carved as a mythical beast, walnut full-stock with moulded borders along the ramrod channel and furniture, raised cheek-piece inlet with a bone and ebony geometric patterns, moulded brass furniture including broad barrel-band engraved with a Tell apple, double set triggers and bone fore-end tip, later ramrod
