circa 1810, with 1 1/4in. blued barrels numbered 4 to 6, starred at the muzzle for a barrel key, brass box-lock action with three-way tap, iron furniture, sliding safety behind cock, engraved martial trophies to each side with central oval panels marked 'SMITH' to the left and 'LONDON' to the right, slab-sided grip with chequering to the back and blank white metal rectangular clip-cornered escutcheon, Birmingham proof-marks on frame ahead of trigger-guard, crisp action, barrels frozen, some minor knocks and pitting, 5 1/2 in. overall
