A SCARCE .177 WEBLEY & SCOTT PRE-WAR 'MKII' TARGET AIR-PISTOL, serial no. 24913,
early production circa 1928, with 7 1/8in. blued rifled barrel, adjustable blade rear-sight on the breech block, the air chamber stamped on the right hand side 'WEBLEY AIR PISTOL MKII (TARGET MODEL)' and 'MADE IN ENGLAND' together with six lines of patents, the left side with five lines of patents and 'WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD, BIRMINGHAM & LONDON', frame with rotating safety catch, no provision for locking screw to the trigger adjuster, four pin trigger group and black hard rubber chequered grips with 'W&S' trademark to upper edge, strong amount of original finish, worn on sharp edges
