circa 1870, with black powder Liege proofs to the octagonal 5 1/2in. barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight to the lift-up barrel latch, fluted six-shot bronze cylinder, break-open frame, double-action mechanism and chequered flared gutta-percha grips with lanyard ring at heel, complete with a period leather holster (leather worn)
