circa 1965-1970, 28in. nitro reproved barrels (in 2004) with 7mm ventilated matt top-rib and permanently attached fore-end, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 3/4 and full choke, hold-open toplever, cocking indicators, manual safety, gold-washed triggers, the blacked action carved in relief with acanthus scrollwork on a matt background surrounding vignettes of running stag and doe in wooded landscapes with a bright polished finish, the top fence and toplever carved in relief with acanthus scrollwork on a matt background in a bright polished finish, 14 1/2in. pistolgrip stock including 1in. ventilated rubber recoil pad, with raised cheekpiece inlaid with scrolling wire and a solitary mother of pearl mallard in flight, the stock and fore-end inlaid with scrolling wire with mother of pearl leaves and game birds, and mother of pearl inlaid drop points, weight 6lb. 10oz., in its makers case.
