for 1937, restricted magazine, 27in. nitro ribless barrel, 2 3/4in. chamber, bored approx. full choke, Garand-style trigger-mounted safety, magazine cut-off switch, blacked action with zig-zag bordering and acanthus scroll engraving, the left-hand side engraved 'BROWNING ARMS COMPANY ST LOUIS MO.' and with the Browning trademark, 14 1/4in. pistolgrip stock including Browning trademark buttplate, the fore-end wood stamped at the end 'BROWNING 3 SHOT', weight 8lb. 3oz.
