circa 1896, 30in. nitro reproved barrels (in 1983), sunken matt rib, engraved 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND. 98 NEW BOND STREET. LONDON.', and with acanthus scroll detailing at the breech-end, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/4 choke, toplever engraved 'PATENT EJECTOR', automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, fences carved with shell motifs, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, best bold scroll engraving with beaded borders, the underside engraved within a cartouche 'ROYAL HAMMERLESS EJECTOR.', brushed bright finish, 14 3/4in. figured stock including buttplate (possible pins at hand), weight 6lb. 7oz., in its makers leather case
