A CASED .450 (BOXER) SINGLE-ACTION REVOLVER, MODEL '1873 SINGLE-ACTION ARMY', serial no. 9056,
for 1874, with 5 1/2in. barrel, applied blade fore-sight, single line address, solid frame with two lines of patents, cylinder arbor retaining screw to front of frame, fluted cylinder, iron grip-straps and smooth flared walnut grips with lanyard ring at heel, all matching numbers (bar gate), overall length 12in., good amount of apparent old factory refinish remaining and together with an English market oak case relined and fitted in green baize for this revolver, reproduction 'Pall Mall' trade label inside lid and cartridge tray to interior
Other Notes: This revolver was almost certainly returned to Colts for recalibration from .45 Colt to .450 Boxer
