for 1887/88, with 4 3/4in. barrel, blade fore-sight, two line address, solid frame with three lines of patents, cylinder arbor retaining screw to front of frame, fluted cylinder, iron grip-straps and chequered hard rubber grips with Colt trademark and American Eagle (rubbed near smooth, left with cracks forming), all matching numbers (bar gate), overall length 11 1/4in., minimal traces of finish only
