DOUGALL, GLASGOW', block and blade fore-sight, elevating ladder rear-sight, flip-open breech-block marked 'SNIDER'S PATENT', commercial style chequered thumb-piece and also numbered 'Y.No 26', plain colour hardened bar-action lock with unusual elongated tail signed 'BARDELL'S & POWELL'S PATENT No.14', flat-faced rebounding hammer (of same patent), walnut full-stock with brass furniture except three iron barrel-bands and jag-ended clearing-rod
