dated for 1847 and of Heavy Lancer's style, with round iron 9in. unsighted barrel, solid top-tang, borderline engraved bar-action lock signed 'TOWER' together with the date and a Queen's crown device, walnut full-stock marked on the left cheek 'WALKER' and 'T. POTTS', with brass butt-cap and trigger guard, iron swivel to front of guard and brass nose-plate with captive iron ramrod at muzzle, 16in. overall, weight approximately 3 1/4lbs.
